Superheroes never go out of style. Even if they may seem a bit down on their luck now, that doesn’t mean they aren’t still much beloved and don’t have a dedicated audience behind them. Among the most cherished is, of course, Batman. Alongside Spider-Man, he has the distinguished honor of being one of the two superheroes who not only boasts the greatest number of video games throughout history but also the highest quality ones. This leads us to suspect that being associated with a totemic animal might grant you powers beyond fiction as well.

Recently, it was announced that the Batman: Arkham Trilogy would be released for the Nintendo Switch. This compilation includes all three Batman: Arkham games—Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, and Batman: Arkham Knight—available to play natively on the Switch. With all the DLC included, it was good news all around. But the most important piece of information was missing: the release date. And now we know.

Batman: Arkham Trilogy is scheduled to launch on the Nintendo Switch on October 13th, both in digital format via the Nintendo eShop and in physical format. However, please note that the cartridge will only include the first game, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and to play the rest, you will need to download them as well.

This compilation is a golden opportunity to once again enjoy this fantastic trilogy of games or to experience it for the first time. Because Batman never gets old. And somehow, neither do the Arkham games.
