As announced today by the Japanese company, these are the three games coming to PS Plus starting from September 1, 2023:

  • Saints Row, Black Desert – Traveler Edition, and Generation Zero.

Undoubtedly, a weak month for Sony amidst the year-end battle with Xbox, who will be introducing highly anticipated titles like Starfield, Lies of P, Sea of Star, and PayDay 3 to their Game Pass. Quite impressive.

We’ll have to wait a couple of weeks to find out which games are coming to the Extra and Premium subscriptions, where Sony goes all out.

And as a bonus, say hello to the price increase

Sony has taken advantage of the end of the press release to announce that starting from September 6th, they will increase the price of 12-month subscriptions to PlayStation Plus worldwide and across all benefit plans.

According to PlayStation, this price adjustment will allow them to continue offering high-quality games and value-added benefits to the PlayStation Plus subscription service.

Here are the new prices for the 12-month subscription plans of PlayStation Plus:

  • 12-month subscription to PlayStation Plus Essential: $79.99 USD | €71.99 Euro | £59.99 GBP | 6,800 Yen
  • 12-month subscription to PlayStation Plus Extra: $134.99 USD | €125.99 Euro | £99.99 GBP | 11,700 Yen
  • 12-month subscription to PlayStation Plus Premium: $159.99 USD | €151.99 Euro | £119.99 GBP | 13,900 Yen

The new prices for the 12-month subscription will remain at a discounted rate compared to purchasing 1 or 3-month subscriptions over a 12-month period.

For current 12-month subscribers, this price increase will not take effect until their next renewal date after November 6th.

However, any subscription changes made starting from September 6th, such as upgrading or downgrading tiers or purchasing additional time, will reflect the new prices.
