One Piece is the most popular manga of the last three decades, and as it couldn’t be otherwise, it’s finally getting a live-action adaptation. Netflix secured the rights to it years ago, and now, finally, it’s about to premiere. The anticipation is sky-high among fans, and it’s also aimed at being an entry point for those unfamiliar with the series.

But when exactly does One Piece premiere on Netflix? We can announce that it will be on August 31st, but since it’s a simultaneous worldwide release, the timing varies depending on the country. That’s why we’re providing you with different timings based on the region in Spain or Latin America where you are located:

  • Spain: 09:00 AM
  • Mexico, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala: 01:00 AM
  • Colombia, Peru, Paraná, and Ecuador: 02:00 AM
  • Paraguay, Chile, Venezuela, Bolivia, and Puerto Rico: 03:00 AM
  • Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay: 04:00 AM

In other countries, the release time will be adjusted according to each location’s time zone.

How many episodes will the first season of One Piece have?

One Piece will debut with eight episodes that will cover the entire East Blue arc. The episode titles are as follows: Romance Dawn; The Man with the Straw Hat; The Pirates Are Coming; Eat At Baratie!; The Chef And The Chore Boy; The Worst In The East; The Girl With The Sawfish Tattoo, and Tell No Tales.

And in case you’re not yet familiar with the series, here’s a synopsis that clarifies the storyline of One Piece, which despite being massive, can be fairly well-defined as follows: “Monkey D. Luffy leaves his village in search of an incredible adventure to find the ‘mythical treasure spoken of in legends, the One Piece,’ and thus become the Pirate King. But if Monkey D. Luffy wants to achieve this, he’ll have to assemble the best crew and acquire a ship to explore every corner of the vast oceans, to be swifter.”
