According to reports, WhatsApp is developing a feature that will allow users to select certain contacts as favorites to make calls more conveniently on iOS.

The feature, discovered by WABetaInfo, will appear at the top of the calls tab so that a phone call is always just one tap away.

Its objective is to improve overall accessibility by providing a quick and intuitive shortcut to call favorite contacts directly from the calls tab.

“We believe that this feature will enhance the user experience by offering a personalized way to connect with their favorite contacts, which will improve the communication process,” the report states.

“By designating certain contacts as favorites, users can ensure that these contacts are available on the first line of their call interface,” he adds.

The function to designate favorite contacts is under development and will be available in a future update of the application, according to the report.

Meanwhile, WhatsApp has started rolling out a new feature that allows iOS users to create, edit, and share their own stickers. With this feature, you can turn your photos into stickers or customize existing stickers.
