As you know, the NBA now has two phases in the Playoffs. First, a Play-In is played, where the teams from 7th to 10th place play against each other in a single game. Of those four teams, only two remain and they enter the Playoffs proper.

The Play-In phase began early this morning, April 12, 2023, and the Atalanta Hawks beat the Miami Heat, so they will play the Boston Celtics in the first round. And the Los Angeles Lakers won their game against Minnesota, so they face the Memphis Grizzlies.

Tonight the other two remaining games of the Play-In are played and the winners will face the losers from last night. That will clinch the 2023 NBA Playoffs.
