My son finally talked me into getting him a smartphone, and I had my worries of course. I know there is lots of stuff on the internet that I don't want him to use or see so I looked around google play and found Safe Browser. Safe Browser is a parental control app that is very easy to use and lets the parents control and block websites that you might find undesirable and dangerous. I appreciate what it does, but like every app or program that attempts to filter a large portion of the internet's content, it is imperfect. This is not an alternative to closely monitoring your child's phone activity. More

Allows me to completely lock my son's phone down while he is grounded. Perfect for the excessive use by teens and super easy to use. We will be keeping this app. Unlike others, this app can not be deleted by the teen from their phone when the settings are locked down. Perfect! More

It is good that it denies access to unknown websites but it also blocks credible websites like Bored Panda.

Screen Time let me set my own custom parental controls so I didn't have to worry so much about my child finding inappropriate content. I was really pleased with the depth of features that make customizing the experience you want your kids to have an easy and pleasant experience with the program.

Screen Time is a good app for limiting the amount of time my kids spend on their tablets. However it does not have parental control settings, so I cannot block websites that are for older kids or adult sites. More

For a parent, the internet can be full of dangers. Children can easily access websites that they should never see, and these are often riddled with malware and other things.
