I was really excited to get the app. I have blonde hair and wanted to see what it would look like even lighter. But when I got it, I tried it out and it was not as smooth and cool looking as it does in the pictures to make you want the app. More

This app is so much fun. I use it to play around and let my niece use it too. It is also helpful in deciding on a new look before going to the hairdresser for a dye. Hopefully it will be updated in the future to add more colors. Also an undo button would be useful in addition to the erase button. Overall, I really like the app and will stick with it until something better comes along. More

My girls and I tried this fun app when we all went on a short getaway at a spa and resort. We had a blast seeing what we could look like. Not having an undo button was very inconvenient though. More

Hair Change Free is a Fairly straight to the point app. Take picture, load it and cut your hair out to add new styles. Not many options to play with but i am able to see how my hair would look in different colors. The user interface seems old and not very user friendly. On a final note. The app is kinda buggy and is prone to crash. Loosing the work on the photo i had started with. More

My hair is one of my most favorite features! I love it, take care of it, and occasionally even decide to change the color of it. The Hair Salon app was suggested by my hair dresser when I told her how I was nervous about the upcoming hair appointment. I could not be more thrilled about the way this app works. I simply uploaded a picture of myself and then am able to choose different hair colors to see how I will look with them. This app is such a great tool for all women to have in their beauty tool kit! More

Had fun playing with this app for a few minutes on iOS. It does what it says -- auto-detects your hair and then it lets you experiment with different color combinations. The app is free to use, but to see certain colors, you'll need to unlock the paid "pro" version. There is zero chance I'll be dying my hair in this lifetime, but it was fun to quickly see what it might look like. More

This app seems to do exactly what I want - help me try out new looks with use of a photo. However, I notice there are quite a few reviews that mention problems with snags, loops, and ads that made it a hard and frustrating experience. For this reason, I might still try it but with hesitation. I would first look to see if there was something better out there, as I have doubts that this is the "best" app for my purposes. More

If you're looking to get your hair dyed or are just curious what it would look like, this is the app for you. It gives a fairly good representation of what the hair dye would end up looking like, and for that reason, I would say it's invaluable and very useful. Never dislike the way the hair dye looks on you and be full of regret again! More
