Project CARS is a motorsport racing simulator for VR platforms and PS4. The game uses a sandbox approach for exploration. Players can access 74 vehicles, over 30 locations with 110 different courses.
I was looking for realistic PC racing games with VR support and Project CARS is perfect. It offers a large number of options for customizing your ride, is hyper-realistic, and is a lot of fun for car enthusiasts. More

This game is huge and takes up WAY to much room. Then you have 14 billion expansions. If the game were at all reliable or fun to play, I could possibly understand, but at this time, it's just a big waste of space. More

I bought this for my family to play. It is very realistic. The dynamics and physics are true to life. The steering wheel responds as it should so it feels very lifelike. It's also a fun game to play that everyone in the family would love. More

I don't think this was very helpful. This racing sim looked good and fit criteria, but I'm not sure about the VR.

only game ive played that gets close to realistic physics. I also tried dirt4 and is extremely arcade, stay away from that one if you want realism.

Alright, alright, alright. Here we go! I freaking love racing games. I'm way too chicken and clumsy to do that ish IRL, but in a game where it's totally safe to play with not using brakes? Cool! This game looks SUPER realistic and gave me lots of options for play. I can play alone or with others, practice if I wanna or jump right in. It's PC-based, which is fine, and also has VR support which I think is pretty neat. I can't say I'm a fan of the whole subscription deal. It's over $100 a year if picking the cheapest option, which is honestly kind of expensive if you compare it to other similar games that you only pay for once. I'd totally recommend if you're hardcore into racing, though. More

I RACING IS ONE OF THE MOST REALISTIC RACING GAMES AROUND WITH PHOTO REALISM NOT SEEN IN OTHER RACING GAMES

iRacing is very simmilar to Assetto Corsa in relation to physics (good) and is very fun to play with the competitiveness. Only downfall is its a monthly subscription. Recommend! More

Project cars 2 is nice ,but I do like Dirt Rally better, but I wish it gave you more control over the virtual camera, like project cars 2 Seems I can choose to lock it completely to the horizon or completely to the vehicle, but nothing in between. If locked to horizon on rougher terrain, the car cockpit will sometimes go borderline batshit crazy on me, bouncing around more than I care for. Locked to car is not comfortable to me and produces similar shakiness of the track and environment. More
Dirt Rally is a racing game by Codemasters. Primarily focused on off-road rallying, the game captures the rigid, adrenaline rush on racing through dusty tracks or icy ones. Beat the clock and drive under the toughest conditions.

played 14 minutes of this and was quite dissapointed. very arcadey but i suppose they did get the felling the tyres grip in the steering wheel right. other than that aspect everything else is not simulation. More

With the current technology available, this game is about as realistic as racing gets. It gives the thrill of racing without the risk.

This is really the best in it's genre. In-depth customization and full VR support, what more could a racing game fan want?

Need for Speed is one of the most realistic racing games out there. The franchise has been around for a long time, and has only gotten better. This is a great game to play on the Oculus Rift! More

While I do appreciate that Race Room has VR support, I felt that overall there are better games on the market. The AI felt awful and the steering was not as tight as it could be. If you are looking for a realistic racing game with VR, I would recommend looking at a different game. More

This game has VR support but it feels weird. It's just not a great game but it is decent.
