I really think outside the box when I play this video game. At some point, you will have to resolve it in any way you see it befitting. I honestly disklike the chapter 1 of this game as I felt like it was lacking content in tature. It was all training levels. Great open-world environment tho :D More
by Jacqueline Lawson
The game is good if this is your thing, but it does have some weak parts. It would be nice if I could try the game out before purchasing to see if it's something I want. I really did not enjoy the game overall. The game seemed disjointed at times, but the graphics were good. More
Sleeping Dogs is an action-adventure video game that takes place from a third-person perspective. The player controls Wei Shen, a Chinese-American police officer who goes undercover and infiltrates the Sun On Yee Triad organization.
by Zheng Hao
It's too bad that we will never get to see a sequel to this underrated game as it is truly one of my all time favorites. You can think of it like Grand Theft Auto with more Asian influences. What makes this truly standout is its deep-rooted martial arts influences the gunplay and the hand-to-hand combat is very reminiscent of what you would in a Hong Kong-style John Woo action film. Truly one of the great open world games that deserve more recognition. More

You should try the police sidequest in the game. It is so interesting! I love tracking serial killers, chasing after them. I think the only con I can think of this game is that it doesn’t support multiplayer unlike other open world games out there. More

I love GTA and Sleeping Dogs is very similar to it, except the setting is in Hong Kong and not United States. To car chasing, going head to head with bad guys, and seriously kicking kung fu butt, the game were very well done. More

Far Cry Primal's attempt at a different take on the established formula mostly succeeds in bring great game design and feel. It's too bad that its story is a letdown and lacked any sense of depth to it. Still, I liked playing this game and I hope to see the devs explore this further in the future. More

Far Cry Primal is the latest installation of the Far Cry series, but serves as a prelude to the actual series itself. You play as Takkar, an unarmed hunter who must rise to the occasion and lead his tribe using weapons that you make yourself. It's a really fun action adventure game set in a unique era. More
by Larry Kelley
There are plenty of open world games to choose one. Far Cry Primal is a good choice because it's newer and has great reviews.
by Brian Walsh
I'm really mixed on Far Cry Primal, I really like the world and the atmosphere but I'm underwhelmed by the story. It looks great and the stone age gameplay worked far better than I would have expected but I found the story barely registered to me and I actually couldn't explain now what it was about. More

by Christopher Campbell
Just Cause 3 is a beautiful game and definitely worthy to be apart of the Just cause series. I like this series of games because they are simple but fun to play. I really don't have to put a lot of time into playing and can pick it up anytime. The open world aspect is a plus in my book and unlike others I play with the settings all the way down. The game is a resource hog but I don't need it all the way up to play. Just my opinion! More

ARK: Survival Evolved takes a traditional open-world game (available on Steam) and adds dinosaurs. by Robert Robinson
Far Cry 4 is available on Steam and takes a traditional first-person shooter to a new level with the massive open-world landscape it is working on. It takes a style of many similar games as I started out relatively low level and then can upgrade my stats throughout as I face higher level foes. There has been a lot for me to explore and the story has helped to guide me throughout the expansive landscape. More

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City has been out for a little while now but it's still the standard for GTA games. It's one of the best-selling versions for a reason. Hey you know what's a great open world game? GTA IV. You know what's horrible? Rockstar social club and the defunct but still required Games For Windows Live DRM. Unless you have no other options or wanted to play around with modding you are better off playing GTA IV on the consoles. If I didn't get it as part of a bundle I wouldn't own it on the PC at all. Rust is a survival game created by Facepunch Studios. Inspired by games like Minecraft, and other wilderness survival games. Rust aims to create a hostile environment in which emergent gameplay can flourish.
by David Burns
Rust definitely has its advantages, such as a complex crafting system and structure creation. On the other hand, it can be challenging to get into, and the open world is limited to how well your own character can do in the beginning. Not the best game in the world, but definitely a well made open world game. More

Really wanting to get into an open-world on PC, I started looking for one on Steam. I ended up coming across this great MMORPG on Steam called "Villagers and Heroes". This game, while well done, is not very interesting. There isn't much to do and when you find something to do, it's very bland and uninteresting. Overall, this game fell short of my expectations. The concept of this game is great! I enjoyed the ability to play not only on my mobile device, but directly through steam on my PC. However, its a clunky game that does not receive many updates. What I like most about this game is that it has definitely no rules when it comes to character creation. Personally, I want a magic-type character and it just tdoesnt affect the items I wanna equip. by José Alfredo Amador
Through the first couple hours of playing Saints Row IV on Steam, I am still not entirely sure I understand the fully premise of the game, but that is part of what has me coming back. One of the most successful superhero game franchises that have come out in years. Massive. Classic. At this point, I feel like everybody knows about this game and has spent at least a bit of time noodling around, or has dived in and been deeply immersed in it for countless hours. I'm a big fan and I have a hard time letting go of it once I start a session. The gameplay is fluid, effortless, intuitive. The visuals are out of this world - I could just stroll around and admire the scenery unfolding around me - it's total eye candy. I have to admit though, that if you want to play it in Multiplayer mode you might be disappointed - I've never seen a lot of players out there every time I tried. But the game is not really meant to be played that way anyway, so it's not a problem for me. Definitely a game to try, if you haven't tried it already. More
