The trend for a few years now has been to gain prominence in multiplayer games through collaborations with other franchises. Fortnite is probably the one that makes the most noise in this regard, but that doesn’t mean others aren’t doing it too. Call of Duty recently caught attention for its collaboration with The Boys, and now it’s Ubisoft’s turn with Rainbow Six Siege.

A Twitter leak from user Klobrille reveals a Master Chief skin for Rainbow Six Siege. Specifically, it’s a skin for the Operator Sledge that resembles the appearance of Master Chief in Halo Infinite. Of course, there is no official confirmation yet whether this leak is real or not, so we don’t yet know the cosmetics that would come with this particular skin.

If this leak is legitimate, it is expected to be introduced with the new season, starting on August 29th with Year 8 Season 3, titled “Heavy Mettle.” This season will also include a new operator and significant changes to the ranked and quick match systems, along with a new arcade mode.

In any case, this is not the first time Rainbow Six Siege has received character skins from other franchises or even from other companies. With collaborations featuring Nier, Assassin’s Creed, Yakuza, and even WWE, this crossover with Microsoft’s most significant franchise shouldn’t come as a surprise. However, we’ll still have to wait a bit longer for confirmation on whether the leak is real and, if so, whether it will arrive alongside the anticipated changes in Heavy Mettle.
