It’s always a pleasure to see old friends. Blizzard Entertainment has confirmed the start of the seventh season of Diablo IV, scheduled for January 21, 2024. This new update will bring with it a series of exciting content and mechanics, as well as allowing players to explore new horizons in the popular action RPG. This time, one of the main attractions is the return of the witch doctor, an iconic class from Diablo III, although its participation will be, to be generous, limited.
Poisoning in Progress
The witch doctor, characterized by his skill in using poisons and plagues, will return with a collection of new thematic powers inspired by his original abilities. Blizzard has announced a total of 25 new powers that will be integrated into the gameplay of Diablo IV, giving players the opportunity to experiment with mechanics reminiscent of that beloved character from the previous installment.
Additionally, among the most notable innovations of this season are the insertable gems in armors, which will provide players with 160 armor points and an 8% resistance to all elements. These gems can be obtained through the Whispering Tree, a system that was also present in the endgame content of Diablo IV, promising to further enrich the gaming experience.
Fans won’t have to wait until January to try out the new features, as Blizzard will allow players to access these new mechanics through the Public Test Realm (PTR) on PC. As the release date approaches, interest in the seventh season continues to grow, leaving players eager to discover how these new elements will integrate into the already dynamic world of Sanctuary.
