Apple has released its traditional Christmas video for this holiday season, titled “Fuzzy Feelings.” This year, the company has opted for an emotional and creative narrative, presenting a short film that highlights the power of creativity and human understanding.

The way we look at the world changes it

The story revolves around a cheerleader who, in her scarce free moments from her office job, dedicates herself to creating a Christmas-themed video. The protagonist of her animation is none other than her boss, a grumpy character who constantly scolds her for being late, assigns last-minute tasks, and generally displays unpleasant behavior. Through her art, the animator portrays her boss in uncomfortable situations, like falling into the river or getting covered in snow on the street after a snowplow passes by.

However, the animator’s perception of her boss drastically changes when he hands out handmade Christmas gifts to his employees. This gesture reveals a kinder and more humane side of the boss, leading the animator to modify her video to reflect this new, more positive and welcoming perspective. Something that, it is hinted, will eventually transfer to real life.

Apple’s advertisement aims to highlight how creativity can change our way of seeing others and the world around us. The company emphasizes that sometimes all it takes is a new perspective to fully appreciate the spirit of the season.

The advertisement, as seen in the “behind the scenes” version, has been entirely created using an iPhone 15 Pro Max, showcasing the capabilities of this device in terms of video capture and editing. Subsequently, the footage was edited on a MacBook Air, once again highlighting the value of Apple’s ecosystem of products.
