The long-awaited zombie mode returns to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 in its second DLC, Uprising, with Mob of the Dead. In this thrilling new CoD map we move to Alcatraz, the famous high-security prison in San Francisco where four gangsters are plotting their escape. However, an unexpected event puts in check their escape: a zombie outbreak that plagues San Francisco.
Mob of the Dead is a zombie mode different from all those seen in CoD. And this time, the chilling escape from The Rock is wrapped in a time loop that will tie these unfortunate prisoners in a real hell of undead. And although this zombie mode presents many endings, all of them are unfavorable for our characters. But… Is there any way to break this deadly cycle?
In today’s guide we are going to show you how to complete Mob of the Dead by breaking the time loop and, in this way, get the prisoner Weasel to escape Alcatraz. Only this way you will get to see the secret ending of CoD Black Ops 2 and unlock the most difficult achievement and trophy of Uprising, “Goodbye, Weasel”. Are you ready to dominate the zombies of BLOPS 2 once again?
Step 1. Unlock the standard ending of Mob of the Dead
To get to see the alternate ending of the new Zombies mode of Black Ops 2: Uprising you must first have finished the DLC and have seen its standard ending. This implies:
- To have built the plane to escape from Alcatraz.
- To get the Hell’s Retriever by feeding zombies to the prison dogs.
Step 2. Collect the 5 blue skulls
Once you have this supernatural axe, the real adventure begins. With your Infernal Collector in hand, scour the entire prison in search of the five blue skulls, or energy skulls. Keep in mind that these skulls will be totally invisible unless you enter Afterlife Mode, so finding them is quite a challenge!
To make this task easier, we show you in the following images where to find the five energy skulls of Mob of the Dead.
Where to find Skull 1
You will find the first skull next to where the Aid Gat case appears.
Where to find Skull 2
The second skull is on the table in the guard’s office.
Where to find Skull 3
You will be able to shoot the third skull on the rooftops, right on the edge of one of them.
Where to find Skull 4
You will find the fourth skull on the dock, where the trap is and where the box usually appears as well. It is in the third column from the left.
Where to find Skull 5
The fifth and last skull is on a lamp post next to the Juggernog.
Step 3. Get the Blundergat
Once you have hit each and every one of the five skulls, you will hear a macabre laugh and you will be able to get one of the powerful new weapons in Black Ops 2: Uprising: the Blundergat.
To get it, go to the prison guard’s office and watch as his desk is engulfed in flames. Your brand-new Blundergat will appear among them. Get it!
Step 4. Repeat the escape cycle three times
Then you must repeat a total of 3 times the cycle in which the prisoners try to escape from Alcatraz with the plane they have built, but die when they crash into the Golden Gate. Remember: Repeat it 3 times!
Step 5. Enter the number of the prisoners
We know that repeating over and over again the escape by plane to the Golden Gate can be a tedious step, but it is necessary if you want to unlock the alternate ending of Uprising. And now the most important moment of this guide has arrived: Entering the number of the four prisoners in the tower combination.
The codes you must enter, regardless of the order, are as follows:
- 101
- 872
- 386
- 481
If you have done this step correctly, you will hear Brutus’ voice saying “So you want to know the truth…”.
Step 6. Get all five headsets
Once you have entered the code correctly, you will be offered five bonus items that look like headphones.
Earphone 1
Earphone 2
Earphone 3
Earphone 4
Earphone 5
Step 7. Crash against the Golden Gate and resurrect your character
Then you must board the plane in Afterlife mode and crash again into the Golden Gate. When you fulfill this requirement you will be transported with the rest of the gangsters to the electric chairs in Afterlife mode. Resurrect Weasel.
Step 8. Eliminate your companions
If you have performed the step correctly, Weasel will appear as an enemy to the rest of the mobs so… Eliminate your teammates without any regard! Don’t be afraid of the zombies, they won’t attack you, congratulations! You have obtained the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Uprising achievement or trophy “Goodbye, Weasel”.
Break the cycle and escape from Alcatraz
