Do you have a small business and want to benefit from the advantages of ChatGPT? Well, you’re in luck: OpenAI has just launched a new subscription model for ChatGPT, this time aimed at smaller teams.
ChatGPT Team. That’s the name of the new plan that teams of up to 149 people can enjoy. But be careful, it should not be confused with ChatGPT Enterprise, a modality launched months ago and aimed at large companies.
As we can read in the official OpenAI blog, the ChatGPT Team subscription will offer access to GPT-4, DALL-E 3, and other tools such as Advanced Data Analysis. One of the most interesting features of Team is that the team itself owns and controls the data that is input into the chatbot, so ChatGPT does not learn from our information. This is very useful as it allows us to input data without the fear of third parties accessing that information. Additionally, OpenAI promises priority access to new features and improvements that are introduced in their chatbot.
We will also have GPT-4 with Vision, which is used to recognize images as an input method instead of text, and a 32K context window. The subscription will allow team members to create and share GPTs, customized versions based on ChatGPT. Fortunately for many, creating a GPT does not require extensive computer knowledge, making it a very accessible tool for the general public.
Its low price also makes ChaGPT Team a quite appealing option at first: $25 per user per month, as long as you pay for a full year in advance. If, on the other hand, we want to pay monthly, this would increase to $30 per user. The truth is that it is an ideal option for SMEs, since ChatGPT Enterprise has a minimum cost of $60 per user per month.
The announcement from ChatGPT Team has also coincided with the official launch of GPT Store. Through the store, we will be able to access customized versions of ChatGPT created by the community.
