Coachella is one of the most important music festivals of the year, and this time Rosalía has been the special motivation for many to attend. Held in Indio, California, this festival is characterized for being one of the most important on the West Coast of the USA; it is a place to attend if you want to be up to date and be a cool person in the country.
That’s why many U.S. influencers are pretending to go to Coachella just to record TikToks and show that they’re hip. As singer and tiktoker Loren Gray has revealed, there are many who either don’t go and review as if they were there, or just go to the gate, record themselves and go home.
“Coachella is like the influencer Olympics, right?” explains Gray, 20, in her video. “It’s the place to be. But a lot of influencers don’t even go to Coachella, and I think that’s a crazy fact.”
The posing festival?
As Gray explains in the video, many influencers simply visit Indio, the venue where the festival is held, get dressed and made up and take photos and videos at the entrance. But almost none of them have any real intention of enjoying the concerts or staying longer than necessary for their TikToks there.
“They don’t have wristbands, they just drive their little asses out into the desert to take Instagram photos, get TikToks…whatever,” she concludes. Be that as it may, it seems that real music and Coachella fans are not amused by these types of people.
