If you have noticed that Helldivers 2 is running a bit poorly, don’t worry, you are not alone. Its developer, Arrowhead Game Studios, is aware of this and has already announced the release of new updates aimed at PS5 and PC.

For now, Arrowhead’s goal is to address the most “serious” issues that the game currently faces. Login errors, server failures, and matchmaking… all of this will be resolved starting on February 20th, the date when the long-awaited patches will be released. However, don’t expect miracles. As expressed by Arrowhead, “no update will resolve all the problems“.

This statement is something that we can extend to all games and software in general, as there will never be a perfect update. However, this does not mean that titles like Helldivers 2 cannot improve day by day. The studio has used its official Discord channel to transmit the news and also promises to have a plan to make “continuous improvements in the coming days and weeks“.

Some of the new features that Helldivers 2 players will see include the absence of crashes in missions and cutscenes, improvements in the lobby to increase connectivity between players, and tweaks to the difficulty balance, among others. You can find the complete list on their Discord.

Since its release, Helldivers 2 has become a huge success. Its numbers continue to impress, like the record it set by gathering up to 409,367 simultaneous players on Steam. Such high demand has also caused the game to encounter more issues than expected. In fact, Arrowhead has limited the number of concurrent players to 450,000 in order to improve the stability of Helldivers 2.
