Capcom has announced that the long-awaited patch for Dragon’s Dogma 2 is now available. Currently available on PlayStation 5 and PC – Xbox Series X | S will have to wait a bit – this update fixes the most criticized issues of the game, such as the ability to start a new game without deleting the previous one. This way, players can now embark on a new adventure independently of the one they have already created (and without having to pay again).
Similarly, text display issues have also been resolved; various bugs have been fixed; the possibility of buying a home in the game has been advanced (previously it was more advanced in the adventure), and the number of objects in “Art of Metamorphosis” has been changed.
This applies to both versions. Now, if we focus exclusively on PS5, you can already enable/disable Motion Blur in Options; you can enable/disable RayTracing in Options; and you can lock the frame rate at 30 in Options.
On the other hand, on PC, there is already better quality when DLSS Super Resolution is activated and the issue with some models has been fixed.
There are still more aspects to correct, but this is, at least, a great approximation to what the game deserves.
