Call of Duty never stops bringing us news. So that we never get tired of playing their games, it is constantly being updated, now coming in the form of season 2. With release scheduled for today, there will be news for both Modern Warfare III and Warzone. And we are going to break down the most interesting news of each of the games.

Modern Warfare III players can expect a lot of new content. To start, there will be four new 6 vs. 6 maps throughout the season, including three new 6 vs. 6 maps and a fan-favorite remaster. In addition, there will also be two map variants, based on Skidrow and Terminal, as well as a new war map called Operation Tin Man. All of this accompanied by a new ranked season, so you can enjoy it without losing the competitive side.

But the Modern Warfare III player doesn’t only live on maps. That’s why three new game modes will also be included: Team Gun Game, Sniper Only, and Juggermosh Pit; and the return of two old acquaintances: Hordepoint and Bounty. A whole festival for the fans.

And what about the Zombies fans? The story of the Dark Aether will continue, but a new rift will also be introduced that will make us challenge the Infested Stronghold. All of this with new challenge schemes, blueprints, and a new warlord: Keres, a slippery specialist in chemical warfare.

Call of Duty Warzone players are not forgotten either, as they will also have their fair share of new content. To begin with, they will add a new operations area called Bastion of Fortunes. Why new, if we have already visited it before? Because the Konni Group laboratory has exploded, unleashing a dangerous threat that will stop at nothing. Not even death itself.

In addition to including a ranked season reset, this new season includes many changes to the core of the game. There will now be zombie nests on the map and eradication contracts to eliminate them. A new public event, Rogue Signal, will be added, inviting us to get as many kills as possible in 90 seconds. Zombie power-ups will be added, as well as new squad elimination streaks, and most interesting of all: three extendable bridges that, as a player, you will have to manipulate in order to use them.

Along with this, four new weapons will also arrive. The BP50, an assault rifle; the RAM-9, a submachine gun; the SOA Subverter, a battle rifle; and the Soulrender, a melee weapon. Alongside them, several new operators arrive, such as Kate Laswell, a CIA agent, or John Doe, literally a golden skeleton. But undoubtedly the most anticipated, and the one that opens the theme of collaborations this season, is Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead. We will also be able to get Michonne, from the same series, directly in the store.

All of this is just the first half of the season. For the second season, we know there will be a collaboration with Dune, Denis Villeneuve’s work, as well as more content of all kinds. But for that, we’ll have to wait. If you want to know all the details, you can go to the Call of Duty blog to learn even the tiniest detail. Meanwhile, we’ll be waiting for you on the battlefield.
