Blizzards promised us that Diablo 4 would be constantly updated, always keeping the players happy, and they are delivering. Season 3 of the game is almost here and we have come here today to explain everything you need to know so you don’t miss anything. Now, without further ado, let’s get started.

When will it be playable?

The season 3 of Diablo 4 starts on Tuesday, January 23 at 7pm, Spanish peninsula time. However, be careful. Season 2 had to be delayed for a few hours due to issues with the update system, so it shouldn’t surprise you if it happens again this time. That means that if it’s not available at 7pm, it’s normal. Have a little patience and give them time to fix it.

It is the time to have a companion: something totally new

Season 3 is called Season of the Automatons and, while it’s not a full expansion, it’s loaded with content. There will be a new storyline for us to follow, where we will face Zoltun Kulle, who returns from Diablo 3 with his infernal machines to make our lives miserable. And also, for the first time in Diablo 4, we will have our first companion: Seneschal, a fully customizable little robot. And if you want something more, they will introduce the Chambers, specialized dungeons that are harder to beat, but with better rewards.

What things does it introduce for the base game?

In addition to all this, there will be a new battle pass, new enemies, new items, and new traits. Furthermore, several endgame activities will undergo minor changes, so that the lifespan of the game can be extended even beyond the content of this third season.
