The video posted on the official account couldn’t be clearer: Makarov is back. Yes, this is something that [beginning of Modern Warfare 2 spoilers] you probably know if you finished the campaign of the previous Call of Duty and waited for the post-credits scene. In this scene, a person was seen assembling a weapon inside an airplane with different parts until reaching a message well-known to all fans of the franchise: “No Russian,” which refers to the iconic mission from the original game. Therefore, Makarov returns in this reboot [end of spoilers].
We still don’t have official details on the dates to play the Modern Warfare 3 beta. Sledgehammer Games has promised to provide more information and gameplay on August 17th. However, fortunately, we have leaks that have accurately revealed all the details, which are as follows:
- Beta Week 1 (PS4/PS5) – October 6th, 2023, to October 10th, 2023.
- Beta Week 2 (PS4/PS5/Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S/PC) – October 12th, 2023, to October 16th, 2023.
- Campaign Early Access (PS4/PS5/Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S/PC) – November 2nd, 2023.
- Release (PS4/PS5/Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S/PC) – November 10th, 2023.
- Season 1 Release and New Warzone Map – December 5th, 2023.
We’ll have to wait for more information about this third installment of Modern Warfare after its reboot. What was initially planned as downloadable content has ended up becoming a full-fledged game.
