Last night Bloomberg announced that Rockstar was preparing the ground to drop the bombshell. The long-awaited and long-desired GTA VI was going to be announced in a surprise move this week.
We, as a precaution, prefer not to give it out. Now, with the confirmation of Sam Houser himself on Twitter, we are obliged to bring you the news and explain everything we know so far.
Will they present the game at The Game Awards gala?
Rockstar Games has officially revealed that the next chapter of the Grand Theft Auto franchise will receive a trailer next month. The new game, likely to be called GTA VI, will feature the series’ first female protagonist, influenced by the Bonnie and Clyde storyline.
And another thing we all take for granted is that GTA VI will also be set in a fictionalized version of Miami, like GTA: Vice City, the 2002 game.
Following rumors that GTA VI would be unveiled this week, Rockstar Games today officially announced on Twitter that a trailer “for the next Grand Theft Auto” will be unveiled in early December.
GTA fans have been waiting for it for a long time. Grand Theft Auto V launched a decade ago, in 2013, and has since been ported to successive generations of hardware, such as PS5 and Xbox X / S Series, while its online mode has been a lucrative add-on for the developer.
Grand Theft Auto V has just turned 10 years old and has sold more than 185 million copies following its launch on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2013.
