Xiaomi is gearing up for the global rollout of HyperOS 2.2, the latest version of its operating system packed with key updates. Following its initial release in China, the new update is now arriving in Europe and global markets, offering a refreshed camera interface, AI enhancements, and improvements for mobile gaming.
What’s new in HyperOS 2.2
The update introduces a revamped camera interface inspired by the Xiaomi 15 series, offering a cleaner, more intuitive layout for photography lovers. Game Turbo has also been updated, improving performance for gamers with a more fluid and responsive experience.
Additionally, HyperOS 2.2 comes with enhanced AI capabilities, designed to optimize performance, battery management, and photo editing. Xiaomi has also worked on system-wide improvements to boost overall speed and stability across supported devices.
The first devices to receive the update
While the final version will gradually expand to more smartphones and tablets, Xiaomi has already released the first beta builds for six devices in global and EEA regions. These include flagship models and mid-range bestsellers. Among the first to receive HyperOS 2.2 are:
- Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi Pad 7, both available in the EEA
- POCO X7 Pro and POCO F7 Ultra, also in the EEA region
- Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G and POCO F7 Pro, now rolling out in the global market
This marks just the beginning of what will be a broader rollout. Xiaomi plans to expand support to more models, including both high-end and budget-friendly devices, over the coming weeks.
