Everyone is waiting for the release of the so-called PS5 Slim. Or, at least, all those players who haven’t taken the leap to the new generation yet. And there’s something we need to clarify: the PS5 Slim is not a better model or more efficient. It’s just a smaller model.

And to kick off the Christmas campaign, Sony has released its new ad called “Feel it Now on PlayStation 5,” inaugurating the holiday season along with the launch of numerous titles and their new PS5 Slim model.

The new one-minute ad revolves around the experience players feel while gaming on PlayStation 5 with the DualSense controller and 3D audio. It’s completely different from Xbox’s latest street action.

Sony wants you to make a decision this Christmas

You can watch the new ad above, featuring several game scenes that players will likely recognize, such as God of War, Hogwarts Legacy, Final Fantasy VII Remake, The Last of Us, Spider-Man 2, Forspoken, and many more.

“Through the creative imagination of developers and the innovative use of console features like 4K visuals, 3D audio, ultra-high-speed SSD, and the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers of the DualSense controller, playing on PS5 evokes intensified sensations,” Sony writes on its blog.

“Our latest ad highlights the range of emotions players feel while exploring the worlds of PS5, from a snapshot of fear, facing a Clicker from The Last of Us Part I, to the joy of meeting mooncalves in Hogwarts Legacy and befriending a frost wolf in Final Fantasy XVI.”

Sony will release the new PS5 model, the so-called PS5 Slim, and the highly anticipated PS Portal on November 15th. However, depending on the market, you might be able to enjoy it either before or during the Christmas season.
