To celebrate March 10th (also known as Mario Day), LEGO has dropped a big bombshell with a teaser about the future of LEGO Super Mario, with confirmed Mario Kart sets for 2025!
Nintendo and LEGO have announced by surprise that there will be a collaboration with LEGO Mario Kart in 2025. The announcement was a special revelation at the end of the MAR10 Day presentation that LEGO celebrated on Saturday just before the official celebration of “Mario Day”, on March 10th.
During the same event, several LEGO Mario sets were also unveiled, including one with a Bowser train, another for King Boo’s haunted mansion, and a Peach Castle set that depicts a battle against Roy.
The complete presentation of the LEGO ads for Mario Day is right below these lines, but the most important part about LEGO Mario Kart plans was also highlighted by the Nintendo of America Twitter account, which shared the short teaser trailer that appears below.
No further information was provided about the collaboration, but Nintendo reaffirmed its plans to release LEGO Mario Kart in 2025.
Unfortunately for Super Mario fans, the news about these LEGO Mario Kart plans does not offer more details than the announcement itself. Most people think that this latest collaboration between Nintendo and LEGO will result in new LEGO sets with Mario Kart, similar to the ones we saw with the Bowser Muscle Car set that was released in January, and that is the most logical outcome.
But some hold out hope that this LEGO Mario Kart announcement actually leads to a new game planned for Nintendo Switch or the upcoming Nintendo Switch console.
