InZoi has arrived on Steam in early access, marking the first real attempt to compete with The Sims in the life simulation space. Released on March 27, InZoi invites players to immerse themselves in a world where customization is key, from character creation to home design. However, the building experience presents significant differences that The Sims players will need to consider.
A life simulator with more customization
The construction mode of InZoi is distinguished by its focus on positional customization. Unlike The Sims, where objects are manipulated intuitively with contextual clicks, in InZoi it is necessary to place the furniture first in order to modify it later. This includes the ability to customize textures and colors, with the option to upload your own images or use an AI image generator, although only after having previously placed the objects in the home.
Another interesting aspect of the game is the possibility of creating more space than initially seems to exist. Players can access the upper floors of a building without restrictions, turning what was thought to be a small apartment into a spacious house through the construction of stairs. However, this design can lead to confusion, as the game does not inform about this feature from the start.
Interested parties can also take advantage of the InZoi Creative Studio, which will be available for free until March 22, unlocking access to game content through Twitch streams. Starting March 23, the studio will be available for download without the need to complete specific tasks. With this new audiovisual proposal, InZoi aims to offer life simulation enthusiasts a fresh and dynamic option in the gaming market
