Baldur’s Gate 3 is an absolutely massive game. The average player will take around 70 hours to complete it, and at least double that to see everything, depending on the class and race they have chosen. That’s why there are people who have already spent several hundred hours in the game: it never gets boring no matter how much time we invest in it. This makes it surprising, but only to a certain extent, that there are still undiscovered secrets.
That’s the case of elsonwarcraft, a Reddit user who has spent over 400 hours playing the game. While the number itself is already staggering, what’s most surprising is that there is still content he hadn’t discovered yet. And to the surprise of the entire Baldur’s Gate 3 Reddit community, it seems that no one had done it until now.
Elsonwacraft found an entrance to an unknown cave southeast of The Queen of Water’s House. Inside there is a group of water priestesses, as well as multiple Sahuagins. With a few hidden treasures, including 500 or 600 gold even before encountering any of our enemies, this is a quite interesting place to explore for those who are short on money. Or for those who want to explore the entirety of the game.
While some Reddit users claim to have been in that cave before, it seems to be a common occurrence that goes unnoticed by the majority of players. Hidden in a hard-to-reach and unattractive spot to explore, it demonstrates why this game is capable of capturing players’ attention for hundreds of hours.
If there will continue to be new places that are still unknown in Baldur’s Gate 3 is something we don’t know. But there is no doubt that there are still secrets in the game that, even if someone knows, have not yet been revealed to the majority of players.
