A few weeks ago, Rockstar itself announced what we had all been asking for for years: GTA 6 was real, and in December, a debut trailer would be released that would allow us to see the game for the first time. Today, we know the date and time.

In a tweet that is on track to break all internet records (3.1 million impressions in 18 minutes), the American company has announced that on December 5th at 9 AM ET (3 PM in Spain), they will release the first trailer of the game.

Furthermore, we emphasize the first trailer because in the image below, it clearly states “Trailer 1.” This means that several more are on the way, and it’s possible that we’ll see another one a couple of days later. Let us explain.

On Tuesday, December 5th, we have an appointment on YouTube

As usual, the premiere will be on Rockstar’s official YouTube channel. The question is whether they will also use Twitch to broadcast the announcement. If they manage to consolidate it on a single platform, it’s highly likely that the platform will experience traffic overload.

We leave you below the latest video that Rockstar uploaded to its YouTube channel so that you have them located for December 5th.

Much speculation circulated, ourselves included, that the first trailer for GTA 6 could be released during The Game Awards, as it is the most significant gaming event at the end of this year. However, as some experts predicted, the move might not be that.

And it’s normal. GTA 6 is the most anticipated game almost in history; they don’t need advertising or a spokesperson from anyone. If they were to be released during The Game Awards, they would be sharing the stage with many other video games, which could diminish their prominence.

What could happen, considering that hint of “First trailer,” is that on Thursday, during The Game Awards 2023, we might see a second trailer for the game, showing some gameplay or its story. That situation fits better for us. The downside is that it would spoil Geoff Keighley’s favorite catchphrase, the already classic… WORLD PREMIERE.
