After several years of exclusivity with Epic Games Store, now it will be Steam who will host Kingdom Hearts for the first time. Starting from June 13th, players will be able to purchase various games from the saga through Valve’s platform.
Specifically, the titles that will become available are Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind DLC. On the other hand, we will also be able to get Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece, a pack that contains all the aforementioned games.
Through these games, you will be able to experience first-hand the so-called Dark Seeker Saga, where you will experience the beginnings of Sora in the Destiny Islands. According to Square Enix itself, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX includes texture updates, which translates into better graphics. Additionally, if you decide to purchase the Kingdom Hearts III + ReMind DLC or the Integrum Masterpiece, you will have a new exclusive Keyblade, “Dead of Night“.
For years, knowing the complete history of Kingdom Hearts required having access to different consoles (such as PS2 or PSP). Thanks to these new releases and compilations, many players will be able to fully immerse themselves in one of the most iconic sagas in the history of video games.
