There is no doubt that Disney Plus is the quintessential animation studio. Ever since Walt Disney released Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937, the studio has continued to release more and more animated offerings that make it clear that no one can match up to the production company.

However, in recent years, this has changed quite a bit. The best animated series is not from Disney, but from Netflix, and the platform has also released one of the most celebrated anthologies of recent times: Love, Death & Robots. But Disney has just struck back with its own animated anthology: Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire.

Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire

Kizazi Moto is set to premiere on July 5th and it is an anthology of ten independent episodes with a unique premise: they all depict futuristic visions of Africa inspired by different stories and cultures from the continent. They draw from African aesthetics and legends to tell stories of futuristic science fiction. Without a doubt, the proposal is thrilling.

Kizazi Moto comes from South Africa, and the episodes are directed by Kenneth Shofela Coker, Raymond Malinga, and Ahmed Teilab, all from the continent. In this way, Disney has wanted to pay tribute to the often overlooked continent by creating a series that educates while entertaining audiences of all ages.

From what we have seen in the previews, the animation techniques vary in each episode, but they all maintain an incredible aesthetic that makes it clear that Kizazi Moto is not a trivial endeavor, but rather the latest great product from the Disney Plus platform.
