Lotus has unveiled its 2026 model year versions of the all-electric Emeya and Eletre, significantly expanding its offering to meet the evolving demands of electric vehicle enthusiasts.
With a total of 12 different variants now available, the automaker has introduced new trim designations, including “600” and “900,” highlighting the impressive power outputs of these vehicles.
The newfound nomenclature denotes the dual-motor powertrains found across the lineup: the “600” trims feature a robust 450 kW (612 horsepower) system, while the “900” variants boast an even more formidable 675 kW (918 horsepower).
Experience Blistering Acceleration With Lotus’s New 600 and 900 Trims
The performance of these models is remarkable, with the Emeya 600 achieving a 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) acceleration in just 4.15 seconds and the Eletre 600 completing the sprint in 4.5 seconds. The “900” iterations elevate performance to new heights, with the Emeya 900 darting from 0 to 62 mph in a blistering 2.78 seconds, while the Eletre 900 follows closely behind at 2.95 seconds.
Historically rooted in high-performance combustion machinery, Lotus has embraced this transition with new trims like “GT” and “GT SE” further broadening its appeal. The 600 trims, starting at £84,990 ($110,000), offer an array of standard features intended to enhance the driving experience.
The upgraded models are expected to hit showrooms this summer, allowing customers to choose from varied performance and luxury options, including Eletre 600, 600 GT, 600 GT SE, and various sport configurations.
As Lotus continues its shift towards a fully electric lineup, this new range of high-performance EVs underscores the brand’s commitment to delivering speed and style, aligning with its ambitious goal to become an all-electric marque by 2028.
For those in search of electrifying performance combined with Lotus’s unmistakable design, the 2026 Eletre and Emeya models present an enticing choice.
