With each new version of the Apple Watch, Apple seems to have a talent for causing a stir among both wearers and non-wearers. This fall, along with the release of the iPhone 15 and its new cameras and maybe some iPad, we are due to see the unveiling of two new Apple Watch models: the Apple Watch Ultra and the Apple Watch Series 9.

And it seems that this year, in addition to the new features we were already expecting, Apple will present new colors for both watches. Colors that, although we have not yet officially seen, already make us think of really interesting designs.

Pink for Apple Watch Series 9

The information on both new colors comes from the leaker known on Twitter as ShrimpApplePro, who regularly gives us clues of what we can expect for the next releases of the Cupertino company. The Apple Watch Series 9, following the design tradition it had already established with the Series 8 and previous ones, will offer the same 41mm and 45mm options, but in its aluminum model we will see a new color: pink.

This new addition will join the existing ones: Midnight, Starlight, Silver and (PRODUCT)RED. It will also join other products that have already offered us pink shades, such as the iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad, iMac and even the upcoming iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are rumored to come with this option.

This will be the first time we see pink coming to the Apple Watch. Here, it should be noted that, a few generations ago, we enjoyed the rose gold color, which, from what we sense from the leaks, would be much paler than the color that Apple intends to present in just over a month. We will have to wait to see the official photos, certainly, but we would be talking about a less metallic tone and certainly somewhat more pronounced than the old shade.

Meanwhile, as for the stainless steel options of the Apple Watch Series 9, it is said that the colors will remain Gold, Silver and Graphite. That on the outside, as on the inside, we expect a new chip based on the A 15 Bionic from the iPhone 13. We also expect the Series 9 case to be substantially smaller than the previous generation.

Dark titanium for the Apple Watch Ultra 2

On the other hand, the Apple Watch Ultra, the most robust and capable version, designed for those who love adventures and extreme sports, is not far behind in terms of news. The same leaker ShrimpApplePro has indicated that this watch will be available with a titanium case in black. This option will add to the existing natural finish (titanium color).

It’s worth noting here that Gurman had already mentioned that Apple had tested a darker titanium finish for the current Ultra model, but decided not to launch it at the time. It could be that now is the ideal time for its debut.

Again on the inside, we expect the A15 Bionic-based S9 chip and also print-manufactured parts that could give Apple greater flexibility to be able to place more components inside the watch body and optimize space for battery and perhaps new sensors.

All in all, September promises to be a really interesting month in many ways. Rumors and leaks, coming from generally reliable sources, prepare us for a series of launches that, as usual with the apple company, will surely set trends and establish new benchmarks. We will see how events unfold.
