The rumors turned out to be true: PlayStation has finally confirmed the arrival of a new State of Play. This will take place this week and will allow us to see what is coming soon for PS5 and PS VR 2.
The State of Play will start on the night of Thursday, May 30th and will continue until Friday, May 31st. As for the schedule, it will begin at 3:00 PM PT / 6:00 PM ET (11:59 PM Spanish peninsular time) and can be watched from the official PlayStation profiles on YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok. The livestream will last for over 30 minutes and will end just before the Silent Hill Transmission, conducted by Konami.
Furthermore, we also know the exact number of games that will be showcased during the event: 14. While not all of them will be new announcements, the ones that will be shown are the ones coming this year to both PS5 and PS VR 2.
It’s worth remembering that during the last State of Play held by Sony, we had the announcement of Death Stranding 2, Rise of the Ronin, Stellar Blade and the announcement of Physint, Hideo Kojima’s new project.
