There have been few more massive phenomena in the world of video games than Pokémon GO. People of all ages and backgrounds, even those who have never played a video game before, went out to hunt Pokémon all over the world. And although Niantic’s game no longer causes that immense sensation to the point of even appearing on the news, it is still a huge phenomenon that deserves attention. Especially as its biggest event approaches: the Pokémon GO Fest.
Niantic has announced that Pokémon GO Fest is returning in 2024 and will once again have local and digital events. The digital event, open to all players of the game, will take place from July 13th to 14th and will not require any kind of ticket to participate. Meanwhile, three cities around the world will have the privilege of hosting their own Pokémon GO Fest. The first will be in Sendai from May 30th to June 2nd, the second in Madrid from June 14th to 16th, and the third and final one in New York from July 5th to 7th.
This is particularly striking because it will be the first time that a Pokémon GO Fest is held in Spain. With a price of 27 euros until April 9th, and 32 euros thereafter, the festival will take place in morning and afternoon sessions at Juan Carlos I Park, with all kinds of activities that can be enjoyed from any point in the Spanish capital.
While this is the first Pokémon GO Fest in Spain, that doesn’t mean it’s the first event of its kind in the country. Seville hosted the Safari Zone event in 2022, just like Barcelona would host the City Safari in 2023. Making Spain one of the most suitable places to get involved in game events within the European geography.
Pokémon GO Fest is a must-attend event for fans of the game, where they can get new and exclusive Pokémon, participate in a special event-exclusive research, and meet and cooperate with other players. So, if you like Pokémon Go, mark the dates and make room in your schedule. Because this is specifically designed for you.
