Fans of Hollow Knight are in the midst of an intriguing search for clues that could foreshadow an upcoming revelation related to the highly anticipated game Hollow Knight: Silksong. William Pellen, co-creator of the acclaimed title, has made subtle changes to his Twitter profile, leading to speculation about an announcement that might coincide with the upcoming Nintendo Direct scheduled for April 2, 2025.
We have reasons to believe that Silksong will be presented at the April Direct
The situation began when Pellen posted a message saying “something big is coming. Keep your eyes closed tomorrow,” before the recent reveal of the Nintendo Switch 2. This message has led fans to investigate further, finding details that connect the event date with a recipe published on April 2, 2024, exactly one year before the Direct.
Enthusiasts have not stopped there. On Reddit, some fans noticed that Pellen’s new username, Little Bomey, resembles the wine ‘Little Boomey’, a product from Adelaide, the city where Team Cherry studio is located. This connection has fueled the theory that the Silksong announcement might be related not only to the Direct but also to the wine tradition of the region.
Additionally, the phrase “eyes closed tomorrow” has been associated with the band Imagine Dragons, who used it to promote their own song. Interestingly, the teaser for that song was also released on April 2, 2024, adding more layers to this puzzle of clues.
Considering these indications, it can be suggested that Team Cherry might be preparing a significant announcement to complement the reveal of the Nintendo Switch 2. With the event just around the corner, Hollow Knight fans remain on alert, awaiting news about the highly anticipated sequel.
