For example, users will be able to ask My AI to translate a photo of a traffic sign in a foreign country or ask the chatbot to select the healthiest option from a menu. After integrating Gemini into My AI, Google has announced that user interaction with Snapchat’s chatbot has increased by more than 2.5 times in the United States.

“This partnership with Google Cloud reinforces everything that is so important to serve our community,” said Evan Spiegel, CEO of Snap. “Snap is about giving people the ability to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together. Now, with Gemini in My AI, Snapchat users can learn much more about the world, do it very quickly in the moment, and easily share it with their friends.”
