A few days ago we announced that Bad Bunny was going to get into the ring to fight in front of his audience. It was the sporting moment of the weekend, with the exception of Formula 1 and the final of the Madrid Masters 1000.

Bad Bunny is a multifaceted artist who has managed to become a big star in the WWE and one of the most beloved personalities of recent times, even in a business as unrelated to music as wrestling.

A fight watched by millions of viewers around the world

Damian Priest and Bad Bunny faced off in a San Juan Street Fight, which also served as the co-main event of the Backlash Premium Live Event.

The Puerto Rican crowd cheered every move and loved Bad Bunny’s delivery in the ring. The bout featured numerous spots including a ton of gun-related violence (none of it firearms, of course).

The fight featured surprise appearances from the likes of Savio Vega and Carlito. In the end, Benito won the bout and put an end to Damian Priest’s hopes and dreams.

Needless to say, the bout will go down in history as one of the greatest celebrity fights of all time.

War wounds on Bad Bunny’s body

Following the conclusion of the bout, Bad Bunny uploaded to his Instagram account a photo of his back, showing the ugly battle wounds inflicted on him during the bout.

WWE is also hoping to have the rapper return for one of their biggest Premium Live Events this year. We’ll have to see when Bad Bunny will return to WWE television and entertain fans once again.

But, let’s not forget, Bad Bunny is a singer and not a wrestler, so his next appearance will have to wait a few months until he can fit it into his busy schedule.
