Few could imagine the cultural impact that Star Wars would have after its release in theaters in 1977 with A New Hope. Almost 50 years later, the space opera is more relevant than ever thanks to series like The Mandalorian or video games like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Now, Ubisoft wants to add another great title to the saga with the announced Star Wars Outlaws.
And it is that we have just learned through Readwrite that the game developed by Massive Entertainment will be compatible with the advanced NVIDIA DLSS 3 and Reflex technology.
DLSS 3 allows increasing the number of FPS thanks to artificial intelligence frame generation, as well as intelligently rescaling the image we see on the screen. It is also an exclusive technology of the RTX 4000 series. On the other hand, NVDIA Reflex allows us to play with minimal latency, ideal for competitive games.
The PC version of Star Wars Outlaws is also being enhanced with NVIDIA RTX Direct Illumination (RTXDI). According to NVIDIA, “it calculates the most important light samples of a scene and renders them with physical accuracy“.
It is true that there is still quite some time before we can appreciate all these graphical improvements in Star Wars Outlaws. However, we still have the option to play its first trailer on loop, released in June 2023.
