The past 2023 will go down in history as one of the most powerful years that the video game market has experienced. One of them was Starfield, the ambitious space RPG developed by Bethesda. As is usually the case today, the release of Starfield was accompanied by performance issues and various errors. Fortunately, it seems that most of these setbacks have been solved.
And the new Starfield update has managed to improve its performance like never before. This Reddit user explains it best in their post: “I just wanted to share my excitement for the recent update, which has come with FSR 3.0 and Frame Generation. It has completely changed my experience. Despite having an old RX 5700XT, I went from 40 to 90 fps in New Atlantis. The performance improvement is monumental“.
The power of this update and its improvements have made some players feel more confident in Bethesda. Certainly, this is almost historic: the company has always had a bad reputation with its games, usually full of bugs and errors. Will Starfield be a turning point in improving performance in future titles?
