Microsoft, with the aim of continuing to improve the service of its store, is preparing one of the main current trends in games to have better compatibility with its application. Instant Games, those that can be played immediately without the need to install or download anything, will thus have a better ecosystem within Microsoft.
The trend of Instant Games has only been around for a few years, but little by little they have gained followers who enjoy quick and simple games that do not require the installation of any additional software, as they work online and can be enjoyed immediately as soon as they are selected.
Instant Games in developer and Canary versions
This new feature will allow users to access instant games more quickly and immediately by simply typing their name in the search. Since the game doesn’t need to download any software, it allows for quickly enjoying the enjoyable moment of playing a game.
However, for now it is being tested in Canary and developer versions, so it is not yet available to the general public. However, if this test is successful, all Windows 11 users will be able to enjoy Instant Games more easily through the Microsoft Store app with a more intuitive search system.
Instant games, a quick alternative
Many times you may find yourself in the situation of having five minutes to play something, a time that is too short for the time that a standard session in most video games may require. However, Instant Games, which are usually focused on arcade and fast gameplay, allow you to enjoy quick matches that can range from a few seconds to a few minutes, making them perfect titles to enjoy quick experiences.
However, there are also alternatives of this style among traditional mobile games. As a pro of Instant Games, there is the factor that you don’t need to download anything to start it immediately, although it also implies, as a con, a constant internet connection, since they are “cloud” games, so to speak.
