Microsoft Planner, the application that allows team planning in the workplace through Teams, continues to update to offer Microsoft 365 customers new improvements focused on making day-to-day work easier. With this, Microsoft continues to build its planning to position itself as a leading brand within productivity ecosystems.
New improvements for Planner
As Microsoft has announced from its blog, Microsoft Planner has been updated to provide 4 exciting improvements to users interested in this organizational-level service:
- Frontline employees will be able to assign different training tasks to employees, creating lists for each member in particular.
- Repetitive tasks can be automated in the weeks.
- Forms can be created with mandatory comments to encourage greater feedback.
- Confirmation of completed work can also be made mandatory.
This is not the only improvement that Microsoft Planner has recently received, as a few months ago, through Copilot, Planner received a significant update. Thus, Microsoft makes it clear that it has a great interest in continuing to improve the functions of Planner, since in a matter of months, this application has made a significant leap in quality.

The weight of Microsoft’s workspace
In recent months, it has been possible to glimpse the great interest that Microsoft has in developing improvements for the various applications that encompass its productivity space. It is an important business area for the company and where they intend to position themselves as one of the dominant brands. In fact, considering that Google is also making many improvements in that regard, it is also in their interest to continue strengthening this particular area.
In fact, its star functionality for the past year, Microsoft Copilot, also plays an important role in the company’s work ecosystem, as its services based on Artificial Intelligence using GPT-4 are providing a wide range of improvements in an increasing number of applications that are part of Microsoft 365. While the first improvements could be seen in Edge and Microsoft Teams, some of Copilot’s most recent advances are being directed towards services such as Word or Excel, with the aim of providing improvements at various levels.
