After much anticipation, Xbox Series X and S users will finally be able to enjoy the open beta of Final Fantasy XIV, the online RPG developed by Square Enix.
It doesn’t matter if you were previously familiar with Final Fantasy or not: Final Fantasy XIV Online is a standalone title that does not require any previous experience with the saga. In this way, it presents itself as the ideal opportunity for anyone who wants to delve into the Final Fantasy universe for the first time.
Square Enix wanted to make Final Fantasy XIV accessible to all types of players. If you think that multiplayer games are a bit overwhelming for you, FFXIV includes a feature called Duty Support. It is a support system that allows you to play with NPCs instead of real players. This way, you can enjoy the story that FFXIV offers on your own without having to rely on other players.
Within the beta, we will have all the content that we already saw in the Xbox Series X and S free trial. And if that wasn’t enough, all the progress you make will be transferred in its entirety to the full version of the game.
To play the beta, you just have to go to the Microsoft Store and search for Final Fantasy XIV. Then, select the option to download Final Fantasy XIV Free Trial on your Xbox.
