The premiere of the live-action series Fallout on Prime Video has been a great success. We rarely witness good adaptations of video games into series or movies, but Fallout has managed to exceed expectations. In addition to faithfully replicating the post-apocalyptic atmosphere of the saga, it is also filled with carefully crafted details, as we will see next.
And it is these types of details that drive the most fanatics crazy. Specifically, we are referring to that phone number that appears on the screen during episode 6. In the sequence, where we can see the number 213-25-VAULT, it has turned out to be a real phone. That’s what a Reddit user discovered, who decided to try his luck and call to see what happened.
When the user made the call, what he found on the other side were screams and calls for help from an unknown person who never identifies themselves. Shortly after, the call is abruptly cut off.
The truth is that this is not the first telephone easter egg in the saga. In Fallout 4, there were several Vault-Tec calendars with a number that you could also call. When you did, you could hear a recording from the company itself before the world changed.
However, do not try to call the number that appears in the series, unless you live in the United States. The cost of the call could be astronomical as it is a foreign number.
