Sony’s service for its PS4 and PS5 consoles has changed a lot in recent years. Called PS Plus, it has evolved and improved to face its rival Microsoft, which has a tough nut to crack with Game Pass.
If you are a PS Plus Premium member, you should know that there are titles that will be leaving the service soon. Games like Injustice 2, Batman: Return to Arkham, LEGO Harry Potter Collection and Batman: Arkham Asylum.
Every month, the PlayStation Plus catalog is updated for users, alerting them before they leave the service or introducing something new. In this case, unfortunately, the update does not bode well for PS Plus users.
Unlike the free games offered monthly to all users of the subscription service, these particular games will no longer be available in May.
Which games will leave PlayStation Plus in May?
It was recently announced to customers that some 35 titles would be leaving PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium in the near future. These include titles such as Metro 2033 Redux, Shenmue 3, Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Marvel’s Spider-Man.
Although they were not part of the initial announcement, the four extra games that are now leaving will join this list the next time the service is updated. Of the four featured games dropping from the list, the only one that is part of PS Plus Extra is Injustice 2.
- Injustice 2
- Batman Return to Arkham (Asylum/City)
- LEGO Harry Potter Collection
The rest, including the two Batman Arkham games that make the actual list 36, are only part of the regular catalog at the PS Plus Premium subscription level.
PS Plus subscribers also lose the LEGO Harry Potter Collection, so they are actually losing several games in one. This collection includes the LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 games.
However, don’t worry because just as games disappear from the PlayStation service, others will come in their place to replace them. Others will come along that will do you good, goes the saying.
