The issue of copyright expiration has been a hot topic lately. The latest news we have on this matter is that Mickey Mouse has entered the public domain, and with him will come all kinds of movies and even video games based on his character. However, another character had arrived before him in this no man’s land: Winnie the Pooh.
The character created by A. A. Milne and E. H. Shepard recently entered the public domain, and with it came one of the most extravagant movies we have received: Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. Despite even being nominated for a Razzie, it was a great success for its cost, and now the trailer for the second season has just been released.
Tigger joins the formula
And what’s the novelty of this sequel? Well, Tigger, Winnie’s tiger friend, has also lost his exclusive rights. So, this year we will see once again the bloodshed caused by a man dressed as a bear… and also by a tiger.
