As highlighted on Neowin, this update, already available in its developer version, stands out for redesigning the widget that appears on the lock screen, which offers the possibility to expand the weather content by clicking, opening a tab in the browser with all the details about the weather you want to check.
However, every coin has two sides. And the fact is that Microsoft is still determined to force its services on users and, when you click on the weather information to expand it, your PC will ignore your default browser and open Microsoft Edge with all the weather details you wanted to check. It is a more complete service, but Microsoft forces you to use their own browser.
Time for changes at Microsoft
There is no doubt that 2023 has been a very eventful year in terms of changes within Microsoft.
