We have a new update for PlayStation 5. According to the information published by Sony today, players can now download the version 24.07-10.20.00 on their consoles.
This new update comes with few significant changes, although it does include some interesting features. For example, now the activities we have started on PlayStation 5 are displayed under three labels: “In Progress,” “Not Started,” and “Completed.” Depending on the status of each one, the player will see one or the other on the screen.
Another new feature is that the messages we can exchange with other players have been improved, as well as the usability on certain screens. Additionally, the performance and stability of the PlayStation 5 software have also been enhanced, and an addition that many will appreciate: spoilers will continue to be hidden to avoid revealing important information.
To activate this download, you only need to turn on your PlayStation 5 and ensure the console is connected to the Internet. From there, it should automatically detect this new version, which has a size of 1.3 GB. If you have a poor connection or don’t have much time, you know what to do: start downloading it as soon as you get home to enjoy the game as soon as possible.
This new update arrives on players’ consoles to make the welcome center safer and more reliable, which was launched during the month of September. This allowed more customizable widgets to appear on the home screen, in the purest smartphone style where we can place the things that interest us the most. In the case of PlayStation 5, the widgets were very diverse and could include elements such as the activities our added friends were doing at any time.
