Opera would not be what it is today if it were not for people like Luciano Pavarotti, the world’s most recognized voice of the great works. The Italian singer left us in the 1990s and many people wonder the same thing: what would Pavarotti look like at almost 90 years old?

Many people remember Luciano Pavarotti as one of the greats (in every sense of the word), even though he left us relatively early about three decades ago. So today we ask artificial intelligence what he would look like today, in the midst of 2023.

The boy from Modena who conquered the world

Luciano Pavarotti was an Italian tenor considered one of the most important opera singers of the 20th century.

Born in 1935 in Modena, Italy, Pavarotti began his career in 1961 with his debut in Puccini’s La bohème at the Teatro Reggio Emilia.

Throughout his career, Pavarotti performed at the world’s most important opera houses, including the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Paris Opera and the Teatro alla Scala in Milan.

He also became famous for his massive open-air concerts, such as the Three Tenors in which he performed alongside Plácido Domingo and José Carreras.

Pavarotti is known for his powerful and expressive voice, which allowed him to perform tenor roles in operas such as La Traviata, Rigoletto, La Bohème and Tosca, among others.

His popularity spread beyond the world of opera and he became a cultural phenomenon worldwide, with his singing style being appreciated by people from different cultures and backgrounds.

The images we have taken are from the Stable Diffusion tool, which has shown that it is not very good at aging people who are already old (the photos used to recreate this Pavarotti do not help either as they are in black and white).

Pavarotti passed away in 2007, but his legacy as one of the greatest opera singers lives on today.
