Since the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the ultimate movie that brought together three generations of Spidey, we haven’t heard much about the future of the Spider-Man franchise. Marvel Studios made it clear that with this third installment, the first trilogy of Tom Holland as Spider-Man would come to an end, but a new one would follow.

Since then, there has been speculation about what the next movies will be like: who will direct them, which villains will appear, which new crossovers will arrive, etc. However, everything is still uncertain, so Holland himself has come forward to make things clear. It has been in Deadline where the actor has spoken about the future of his character.

“We want to be seconds away from not repeating the same things over and over again”

“The simple answer is that I will always want to make Spider-Man movies. I owe my life and my career to Spider-Man. So the simple answer is yes, I will always want to make more,” he begins, making it clear that his legacy is safe. “We have the best in the business working on what may be the story, but until we have it figured out, we have a legacy to protect. The third film was very special for so many reasons that we have to make sure we do it right. This is the first time I’ve been part of the creative process so early,” he adds, making it clear that he will be a producer of the film. “I’m just observing and learning. It’s a very fun stage. Like I said, everyone wants it to happen, but we want to be seconds away from not repeating the same things over and over again.”
