You can now install Nvidia GeForce Now on your Steam Deck without breaking a sweat.

Steam Deck continues to be one of the best portable PC/consoles on the market, despite Lenovo or ASUS having released more powerful versions. The compatibility of the Steam Deck with the main gaming clients and an OS designed exclusively for it are responsible for its good performance.

And it is thanks to the excellent support from Valve and dedicated developers that the experience has only improved since its launch, and continues to do so at a dizzying pace even years after its release.

Although you can keep your Steam library, chances are you have games from other services (this is how you can access your Epic Games Store games), and accessing them can be a bit complicated if there is no official support.

GeForce Now from Nvidia was one of those streaming services that was not officially supported, although as always happens in the PC world, users knew how to bypass that limitation.

Now we can use GeForce Now in an easy and simple way

Fortunately, Nvidia has finally introduced compatibility with its streaming service on Steam Deck with a new installation method that is already available in beta version.

The company has shared the news on its own blog, offering users a new way to automatically set up Steam Deck for GeForce Now. However, this will not be a native application, but it will make things much easier in the future.

The new installation script will automatically install Google Chrome and include everything necessary for users to log in to their GeForce Now account. Although everything should go relatively smoothly, you can always refer to the more detailed tutorial on how to get it up and running if you encounter any issues.

In this way, the Steam Deck remains the best place to play outside of your home, because of everything it offers, its price, its performance, its compatibility with all clients and operating systems, and much more. Valve, what a great job you have done.
