Ubisoft has finally confirmed the release window for Assassin’s Creed Codename RED and Star Wars Outlaws. It was through their latest financial report, published on February 8th, where we have been able to learn the details.
The report mentions that the next release of Star Wars Outlaws will occur in 2024. Meanwhile, Assassin’s Creed Codename RED is still set for 2025. Additionally, the report also explains that we will have more information about the releases of 2024 and 2025 next month in May.
Star Wars Outlaws is Ubisoft and Lucasfilm’s big bet to combine George Lucas’ vast universe with open-world mechanics. The main character is Kay Vess, a thief who also has the help of ND-5, a separatist droid. Massive Entertainment is the studio in charge of development, also responsible for games like The Division 2 or Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
On the other hand, there are few details about Assassin’s Creed Codename RED. However, we know that it will not follow the path of Mirage, a title that bet on a return to the origins of the saga. Codename RED represents the return to the open worlds with RPG elements that have characterized Assassin’s Creed in recent years.
